**For users of Moxa NPort, if your firmware is v5.09, please upgrade your NPort firmware to v5.10, build 21032913 to resolve the bug "NPort might hang when using in a public network".

1). This bug can cause the Moxa NPort to be disconnected from your network after a couple of weeks of using and can only be resolved by hard power cycling.  As the incidence of this issue is high and difficult to isolate, to minimise disruption and work, we advise all users to upgrade the firmware regardless of the network.

2). The NPort firmware is different from the hardware version (e.g. V2.1.0) printed on the packaging box. You can only retrieve the firmware version using the NPort Administrator or the Web Console (web console is accessible after configuring networking).  Default password: moxa
